I'm Dawid, a full-time university professor. Alongside my own research I publish more than five papers a year, I've supervised fifteen PhD students through to their doctorates, and I act as an external examiner at other universities.
I work with researchers at every stage: PhD students stuck on a first paper, postdocs and early-career academics who need publications and a profile, mid-career academics looking for new impact and income, and non-native English speakers publishing in English-language journals.
Every session is built around one real problem you bring. You leave with a clear plan and, usually, the first part already done: a paper unstuck, the right journal chosen, a reviewer response drafted, or a profile that finally reflects your work.
What I can help you with:
1. Finishing a stuck paper and getting it submitted
2. Choosing the right journal and building a publishing strategy
3. Responding to reviewers and handling revisions or rejection
4. Building your academic profile and visibility, on LinkedIn and beyond
5. Planning a research career and building income beyond the university salary
Over the past decade I've helped researchers well outside my own department do the same. More than 60,000 people follow my work on LinkedIn, several thousand subscribe to my newsletter, and hundreds are inside the Research Career Club community I run.
If you want straight, practical help from someone who publishes for a living and has guided researchers through exactly these problems, choose a session below.
